Product Description

This plywood is a functional grade material composed of birch from parts of Russia. The Baltic birch is graded as a B-BB, which means that one face, B, will be a whole face, no splices, have no patches (plugs that are used to cover defects) but may contain knot pattern or mineral streaks. The other face, BB, and the inner plies will contain patches and tight and not so tight knots. Perfect for scroll work
This plywood is perfect for smaller pieces cut on the scroll saw. I make lots of pins and jewelry, and the 12 x 12 size is large enough to get several pieces per sheet, yet small enough to fit the scroll saw. Smooth enough to paint without sanding, this baltic birch is great! I plan on buying from this company again!

When the second coat had sat a few hours however was still pretty tacky I then applied t-88 to the mating surfaces and strapped the plywood back on the leading edge. lay on either side of the plywood, centered on the leading edge line. I let the first coat dry a couple days then sanded and applied a second coat. Strapped it right to the wing panels with ratchet straps and let it sit for a couple days. I used towles soaked in hot water and put them in strips about 4-5" wide on the top and bottom of the ply and let it soak for about 3 hours. When I varnished withclear coat epoxy, I applied two coats.
