Why can't they email the code for free?
Why can't they email the code for free instead of charging money to ship a useless piece of paper? It's fine that some people may choose to waste a tree by wanting this delivered to them but in the end it is simply a code that could easily be electronically delivered and Amazon has these facilities else they could not be selling MP3s etc. It may be handier to give as a gift in physical form too but for the rest of us, I think paying to deliver this is like buying a box filled with air and packing peanuts. It just wastes everyone's time including the mail courier. The idea itself is great so 5 stars for the product and there are lots of great games online to buy. One other thing that bothers me though is the fact that the denominations of $20 and $50 can never be equally divided into the costs of the games so the house always wins. This means Sony will always have your change even if you buy a game for $19.99 they will have your 1 cent, which is plenty when you calculate... Top to learn more
Great Product
This is a great product for people who want to download games and movies on their PS3 or PSP. My only problem is the shipping. I feel that it is not necessary to ship this card when they could simple send you a pin. I found that you can buy one on EBay and have the pin number messaged to you. Why make it easy if complicated also works
It's the only way to solve the credits issue when you live outside the US. But they could cash much more if they make user's life easier. I've just got it done because I do have friends within the US and could mail this useless piece of paper to them, so they could pass me the code. Suggestion to Sony: just make it easier and allow a complete ONLINE transaction. Mailing a piece of paper to need to be thrown away right after is not environmental friendly AT ALL. Top to learn more

The Only Way for Latinoamerica
I purchase this card and I sent it from amazon to Costa Rica, because I want the Map Pack 1, 2 and 3($9.99 each) from the Call of Duty WAW. I tried to buy dollars to my wallet in the PlayStation Store (in my ps3 slim) with my credit card, that have the billing address in LA, California, but it didn't work any way. So, I purchase it and now I can play the 3 map packs. There is true that we need to spend more money($5-6 to shipping, $3 taxes, $7 to bring to CR: $65 total) to get this card, but is the only way to get some add-on, games, themes or something else in the outside of US like Latinoamerica.

The overhead is crazy!
Sony makes purchasing games on their Playstation Network incredibly hard. I entered my credit card a dozen different ways, entered things exactly as they appear on my billing statement, and even looked through their FAQ online, but still couldn't add anything to my PSN wallet. So my Plan B was to purchase a PSN Card. Holy cow, the overhead is ridiculous. Let's look at the numbers: 1. $50 charge for money that you can use in PSN. This is a given. 2. There is also shipping and handling. This added a few more dollars. 3. I was also charged taxes on the card. So, after all was said and done, I got my card delivered to me for a little less than $60. But that isn't the whole story. I purchase a few games online. Each game I buy online, I get taxed again for THAT purchase too. Outrageous. I thought this was my only option for getting money into my account, but now I see the overhead isn't worth it. I'll definitely try getting some...

This is a awesome feature. You purchase it and are given the code immediately so that you do not have to wait for anything. Since the PSN is often on the fritz and doesn't allow it's members to "ADD FUNDS" via credit/debit, this is a good alternative method to buying games. Simply buy the card from Amazon.com and enter the code given after purchase into the "Redeem Codes" area on the PSN via PC, PS3 or PSP. PS3 Compatible!
I bought this to extend the length of my existing PlayStation 3 DualShock controller cable. I prefer going wireless with my controller, but when the battery runs down the only way to charge it is to plug in the Sony-supplied cable. Unfortunately, that cable was too short for me to sit back in my chair away from the TV, so I always had to quit playing until it charged. I bought this cable to extend the original controller cable's length, not as a replacement. This AmazonBasic's USB extension cable is a good a quality cable for a low price, and the "frustration-free packaging" means the box the cable comes in is also the box it's shipped in. Nearly 10 feet of USB glory
Short little USB cables that force you to store all your devices within 3-6 feet of your computer really irritate me. I dislike having all my peripherals sitting in my lap when I'm trying to do work. Small, but a lot of power!
This memory card should not be called an accessory because it is an essential. It will cost you a few extra dollars, but it will allow you to enjoy your games more fully since this device will enable you to go more into depth and get as much as you can out of each game. You do not have to restrict yourself to just 1 memory card per game since it hold 8 megs of memory (this is a whole lot of memory). The only games that will take a good chunk of that memory are sports games if you run a simulated season (they generally will take up around 1 to 1 1/2 megs of your memory). Besides that, if you are not into sports you could save files from a small library of PS2 games onto one card! Another great aspect is that the card is efficient. It is very fast, meaning that you will not have to wait long at all in order to load your saved files, save new files, and delete ones that you think you will no longer need.
