I really enjoy this tea. It's as stimulating as coffee but it taste better. I will drink tea instead of coffee any day. Guayaki seems to be a good brand. I visited the company's website. Guayaki is the strongest Yerba Mate' that I have tried. I strongly recommend this to anyone seeking an alternative to coffee. Descriptions of the tea suggest that it also promotes mental awareness. This stuff is pretyt nice. I tried to kick coffee with it, but I decided I like coffee too much. The "jolt" is real deal though. I loke this stuff. This Yerba Mate is a Keeper
Other reviewers have mention the fine particles in Guayaki Loose Yerba Mate, but all the Yerba Mate I've tried had some fine particles, and this does not bother me. Yerba Mate is actually made from the leaves and stems of the South American rainforest holly tree, so some dusty particles are bound to end up in the tea.Admittedly, I don't love the taste of Yerba Mate without sweetener and a bit of milk. It does not taste like traditional tea, it has more of a green tea taste, but much earthier. I do not find this tea to be bitter, but then I brew it appropriately: stir the tea in a small amount of cold water, then add 185 degree water. I steep for 5 or more minutes, and if I steep for just 5 minutes, I find I can brew a second cup using the same tea by skipping the cold water and steeping for about 10 minutes.In my opinion, Guayaki Traditional Mate brews up nicely to a full-bodied tea that perks up my brain during afternoon energy slumps, without the upset...

Great Stuff
Love this stuff and buy alot of it. Its a pretty good deal online here and lasts a while.I suggest this to tea drinkers and especially coffee drinkers since it has less caffeine but does not give me the jitters or a crash. I drink it all day long and it has increased the effectiveness and duration of my studying.

Most importantly this yerba mate is USDA Organic, who wants pesticides or a genetically modified product? Products that arent certified USDA Organic are just harmful to us, animal and insect life and of course our environment. Bees that die prematurely are found to have genetically modified unorganic particals in them. It ruins pollination which in turn slowly harms our world. I hope more companies become as environmentally responsible as Guayaki.Guayaki yerba mate does the trick, tastes great and provides sustained energy without jitters. Top to learn more

Best tea I have ever had the pleasure of drinking!
As someone who's most awake between the hours of 7 at night and 3 in the morning, I've always used tea instead of coffee to wake up. I've tried a variety of european & asian teas, both black and green, but I must say that this is the best. In terms of taste, this one can't be beaten. In addition to the cocoa flavoring,there are also hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, stevia, and clove. Above all, I am unable to taste any hint of bitterness, so this tea slides right down the hatch. Psychopharmacologically, Yerba Mate is superior to regular teas. I'm a caffein sensitive person, so a single cup of tea can carry me for about six hours. There are tons of xanthines and other psychoactive chemicals in Yerba Mate, and the 'high' obtained is significantly different from any other caffeinated beverages I've had. Enjoyable
Mind you, this is my first excursion into the Yerba Mate world so I have nothing to compare it against, but I am quite happy with this product. It tasts good hot (especially with a little honey and some frothed soy milk like the comapny's website suggests) and I love throwing a bag into my water bottle. The best energy drink I have tried!
This tea is the best energy drink I have tried! The flavor could be described as "earthy," and may take some getting used to for some people, but with a little added sweetener it would be pretty good. I prefer it plain. I have tried the regular yerba mate, but the "Pure Endurance" far surpasses that one as far as giving me good energy. It puts me in a very good mood. It's worth every penny as far as I'm concerned! Healthy, flavourful, smooth teas
Having tried tried many brands and varieties of Yerba Mate over the last 3 years, I have developed a strong liking for the Guayaki brand after 2 years of enjoyment of their product. They are a quality brand producing fine Mate.I don't find the Guayaki Mate quite as strong as other brands, having less of that Mate kick, however I do find the smooth, rich flavours very satisfying. I have several different ones in my kitchen right now - they're good for 2 to 3 cups a day. Their Mate drinks are similar to the Aviva brand in the range of flavours, however Guayaki is clearly a superior brand. Between Taragui and Guayaki brand Mate, I am hooked on this drink for its uplifting, positive effect on my health and well-being.I am a native of South Africa, the home of Rooibos (Red Bush) tea - and while I enjoy it, this Mate has a more profound effect. Yerba Mate Taragui
This is my favorite brand of mate cocido. It's what I always had for breakfast in Argentina. It has a medium flavor-not too bold and not too soft, just the right amount.I'm glad to see Amazon offering it for a reasonable price. I just wish they carried the "Mate Cocido para Ninos", which has a hint of vanilla and honey, by the same manufacturer. I LOVE THIS TEA. The statement is filled with too much intensity to be written with lowercase letters. The caffeine in mate is for some reason the only kind of caffeine I can handle. Coffee and green tea make me feel irritable and jittery. Mate can calm me down and wake me up at the same time. It doesn't give a strong jolt or anything, but it makes me feel better about being awake. I drink it throughout the day to keep that feeling going. One bag normally lasts me 3 cups, 4 cups at the most. The 2nd brew has the best balance of flavor for me.The caffeine in mate relaxes your smooth muscle tissue which are found in the walls of blood vessels, the uterus, most of the gastrointestinal tract, and in other organs too but I'm not really sure where. If you really want to know I'm sure there's a wiki on it. Anyhoo. With relaxed smooth muscles, I find that I digest food better and that it helps relieve headaches.
