great working pci fan!
Let's make it simple. I have been using this fan for two years now and I think they deserve the recognition of the achievement that Vantec have made. I use this to cool down my video card. It fitted perfectly cause the fan blows the air directly to the graphic card. It make the air circles in all the case.Pros:- 2 fans.- variable speed control.- low noise fans.- easy to install.- Long lifetime!- Cool blue led light in the fans. If you are using a transparent case it looks great.Cons:- It takes up a PCI slotVery satisfied with this pci fan, in fact I bought another one to my PC in the office.I do recommend this product.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do.
I've been struggling with heat issues for quite some time with my gaming PC and have gone through numerous fans and combinations trying to find a way to keep it cool. I had just about resigned myself to just running with the case open all the time until I bought this. After shuffling my PCI cards around so as to allow a space between this and my 6800 Ultra I fired the machine up (and closed the case! ;-) and did some gaming, all the while keeping an eye on the temperature of the card. This fan easily dropped the temperature on the card 5-7 degrees celsius when the graphics are running full bore.. once the chaos on the screen starts to subside, the cooling is even better. As an added bonus, this will cool the card down quick once you exit your game.I thought for sure that I would have to trade off cooling for a lot more noise and I was surprised to find that I had to listen for it in order to hear it. Great upgrade fopr an aging laptop
My Dell Inspiron 1520 is 3-1/2 years old and while it's still reasonably fast, I felt I could extend it's usefulness by upgrading some of the components. Fortunately, this laptop came with a discrete video card (nVidia 8400m GS) for which there was a higher model (nVidia 8600m GT) that I didn't order originally. For sale at $25 now, the 8600m GT is a bargain compared to the cost of upgrading at the time of purchase. The laptop's disassembly instructions can be found at Dell's website and if you assemble your own PC's this is just a little harder, but I wouldn't recommend it to a "non-tinkerer". In the end, the Vista Windows rating increased from 3.5 to 4.7.

Great Performance boost for an older computer.
My wife's laptop was a little sluggish when trying to work with videos. I upgraded her video card from the factory installed 128MB to this 256MB card and the performance gains were dramatic. My Windows experience scores went from 3.4 to 4.5, which is not bad at all for a 4.5 year old laptop.Installation should be performed by someone who is handy with computers, or a technician. I did perform the install myself by carefully following the steps in the manual [...]. The entire process probably took an 1.5 hours from unboxing to completion.

With all the negative comments about this product I wanted to give it a fair chance. I am writing this review because as a fellow online purchaser, product feedback is very important in making your purchase decisions. I almost did not buy this product because of the negative reviews but for $15 I figured it would be worth the risk and now I am glad I bought it. I have made a couple DVDs so far and it has been trial and error but I am getting better each time. This product works and so far is working great. The hardest part is learning to use the software that comes in the package with the Easycap. Just a few steps to get you going... Put the disc in prior to inserting the easy cap. When it autoruns then click on the install driver option. (There are more in depth directions that come with the product but they were in broken English so I'm trying to help with that.) The directions say to tell it not to search the internet then continue on and eventually you will get to a screen that...

This product is great but not perfect it has better quality then a DAzzle but only after i change some settings in the capture area heres how i did it1. click capture video but don't capture.2. click video type.3. click mpeg.4. click options, then click the 'SECOND' option.5. click capture up in the tabs of the options.6. move the quality meter all the way up to 100%.7. then click advance.8. make the quality DVD then scroll to the bottom then click 720 by 620 NTSC or the PAL option right below it if your in Europe.9. the click display area and make it 16.9 then make the bit rate constant bit rate.10. keep the audio were it is expect if the bit rate is under or above 224kbps then make it 224kbps to remove static.11. now download a media encoder because MPEG isn't compatible with alot of programs.13. Does the job.
I used cable to send audio from my computer to my stereo receiver. Cable has a Mini male plug at one end, two male RCA plugs at other: plug the Mini end into the Audio out connector on sound card, the 2 RCA ends into spare left and right jacks on the receiver. Note if your sound card has only 1 Audio out connector, you need to also get a Mini male-to-female splitter (I got one for $2 at E-Bay) in order to hear audio from both the computer and stereo speakers.

i bought this cable to connect my laptop to my home theatre receiver, eliminating the need for computer speakers whcich could never match up to the sound of my home theatre system. the 12 ft cable is plenty long enough and it is surprisingly high quaality for the price. i don't give the cable 5 stars because i know there are higher quality cables out there with 24 karat gold connectors which will give you a cleaner sound. don't buy the 12ft version unless you need the length because the longer the cable, the more signal loss there is. this is perfect for the average guy who just wants to listen to his mp3's or play PC game audio through home theatre system.

Great Game!
I had no problems downloading and installing this game, on a windows 7 toshiba laptop. It downloaded and installed within 1 hour and a half over wi-fi signal. At first when you run the game, on the menu screen you will notice that the animation on the water is kind of choppy and miscolored, and the menu itself operates a little slow. It also can get really repetetive throughout the gameplay, because you are always sailing back and forth to your home country to your colony shipping people and goods for them to live off of. It also kind of shoves a whole lot of information down your throat at once, but honestly most of it is useless. The whole game is really intuitive, just trust your instincts and you will do well at this game.On the plus side though, when you actually get into the game the graphic gets better and looks really good. The coastlines are modeled exactly after the Americas. You get the entire game from the demo, except you can't save, or play online, but hey...

Fun to play, needs documentation for some items.
Really did not expect much out of this game, but surprisingly, I like it.Best described as a mix of games that are out there, little civilization, a bit of tradewinds or pirate hunter. You take command of colonizing the new world for one of 4 major powers. Earn coins by trading with your home country, bring colonists back to the new world to grow your settlements. Build up the towns to keep the ocupants happy, and to produce more profitable goods from the resources you harvest. Make sure you keep the native population happy, unless your ready to fight.No save game on this demo, so you have to start over each time you play.

Suprisingly fun!
The game installed and played fine for me, maybe your computer is incompatible which would not be a game rating issue. Anyway, the game is simple to play with a little reading from the tutorial that pops up and some common sense. You can set up automatic trading which is great, the fighting ship battles are great and the game play is pretty smooth. I was bored and tried this out, the free version does have a time limit but none of the other raters apparently made it that far. If you like resource trading and colony building its the game for you. I play a lot of games and found myself purchasing the game.

If you only want to use the word or by e-mail, do not bother to buy it. If you want a laptop for high-quality video, play games like Hot Pursuit at medium values, and only the power to buy it. Just so you know, I bought it in November for about $... It’s a good thing as it is now a dedicated graphics card, unlike many laptops from Intel. What school is that I do not for what you have to wait for a laptop, and I wanted a good handling, graphics, and a ram. For more information, I needed a laptop for school. This is easy to play modern games at present, such as running and Civ 5 Skyrim, but do not expect to play Battlefront 3 Ultra.

Now that Google Drive has officially launched, work has begun on tightly integrating the cloud storage and sync service with the native Chrome OS filesystem. Chrome OS can perform a certain number of offline tasks — the Scratchpad app, for example, provides decent rich text editing and photos can be tweaked — so there’s no reason for Google to make Drive integration online-only. Chrome OS is also built to play well with Docs and be easily managed by Google Apps administrators, so providing seamless access to that new storage system seems like a no-brainer. Current Google Drive clients also offer selective sync, and that’s something Chrome OS would definitely need. Chrome OS will get Google Drive integration starting with version 20, which is currently being served up on the Dev channel.

They’ve offered Opera users a way to run web-based gadgets on their desktop for ages, but Opera has decided it’s time for developers to fully embrace the newer extension platform — which allows widget-like functionality on the Speed Dial page. To take Opera 12 for a test drive, head over to Opera Next. All of these laptops uses the same graphic card, Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT. Also, if some of you have another opinion, can you pick any gaming laptops by MSI that uses Intel processor and ATI Radeon graphic cards. A computer can live for several years if you take care of it. If you periodically clear the dust out of the fans, and buy a laptop cooler (to prevent overheating)… Any laptop can last a long time. I want a laptop for college and play some games on it, but i dont want a “gaming” laptop. So, I want some opinion about these laptops which is GX400, GX620 and GX720 because these three received the most award among all laptops by MSI. Most computers fail do to the user not taking good enough care of it. A computer is also only as good as the hardware inside of it. MSI doesn’t make any of the hardware, they just manufacture the laptops. I’m considering buying a laptop and after doing research have found the msi a6000-29us it seems a good deal for the features. It has the same hardware as the laptop you listed, but it has a much better graphics card, this will allow you to have a bit of breathing room for the future of gaming. I want some opinion about MSI gaming laptops. Is the MSI a 6000-29us a good laptop for it’s price. What do you think about MSI gaming laptops if it is to be compared to ASUS. are MSI laptops good.
