Incredible!
Bought this to remove latex paint from a hardwood floor that was recently refinished. Follow the directions and within minutes, the floor was completely clean, with no issues or discoloration. This product really works like Magic! I was an instant fan!

Beat "Goo Gone" on dried latex paint.
I've have a bottle of each right now and I just picked a large spot -- about four inches across -- on my chest freezer lid that had dried latex paint. I put "Goof Off" on half and "Goo Gone" on the other half, making sure not to let the two run together. Ten minutes later I wiped both. The area where I used "Goof Off" is restored to new clean whiteness. The area where I used "Goo Gone" still has the latex paint, not degraded a bit.So, these types of products are not the same at all. Of course, the description of the "Goo Gone" product does not say it removes paint. The take home lesson to me is that these noxious-chemicals-that-claim-to-remove-anything products seem to be the same, but they certainly are not.

I recently replaced a broken window in my RV. In the process, I smeared some black butyl rubber sealer on the aluminum siding. Goof Off removed the mess quickly, where other products failed to do the job.

If you should find yourself in a rehab of your mothers home with your dunderheaded brother and should dunderheaded brother decide to paint the house with an industrial painting machine... and consequently turn almost everything that shouldn't be white, white, well you need this product.It had been recommended to me but didn't want to get it because it was very flammable and I was told gave off fumes. I tried everything else first... they were pathetic. The paint barely budged. Finally I gave in and tried this. OMG the paint came off like butter and no damage to the underlying wood stain. It does take some scrubbing but not the arm drubbing that I was doing with the other stuff. I removed paint off stained boarders. I removed paint off heater vents. I removed paint off door knobs (no damage to underlying brass). There was no damage to anything... they looked like fine art I had recovered. I also used it to remove glue. It reminds me of nail polish remover in the way it...

Would't be without this magical stuff
I have no experience with paint removal as another reviewer has but this stuff removes one of the toughest tackling jobs! Everyone must be familiar with those damnable labels that uncaring retail stores apply to items they sell - and they always seem to apply them in the worst places. Well, Goof Off will remove that gluey junk that remains once you're able to get the paper off; and it does it easily. If you are dealing with Lucite or a lucite type material, check this product in a hidden place before tackling the label glue since SOME lucite type materials get damaged from this product. However, nothing else works like Goof Off against that awful glue from labels.

Yes, this stuff will release you from all that sticky stuff left from bar code labels, price tags and packaging tape. It is great, AND it has not affected anything I have tried yet. I would still advise you try a little bit on something of similar material just to be sure. Very well engineered stuff. AND with an excellent TRULY child proof cap. Yep, this stuff deserves 5 stars! I originally bought it to remove Boy Scout patches that were affixed with "Badge Magic", but have not needed it yet....soon as my oldest just GOT HIS EAGLE SCOUT RANK!!!! Great Stuff!

I have gone through 2 bottles of this stuff since I found how amazing it is. Cleaning doesn't suck as bad when you find a product that does what it says it does. I sprayed this on a sheet pan I was about to throw away because I couldn't get the baked on grease off, let it sit for a few minutes and it came clean with a sponge. My greasy cabinets above my stove just spray and wipe with a paper towel. Takes even old grease stains off of clothing. Made cleaning my grill a breeze. I actualy look for things to clean and I HATE cleaning. Melts soap scum...I could go on and on!

Have used it only once so far. Applied to a grease spot on a cotton sweatshirt that would not come off even after multiple washing machine washes. But, one treatment with Goof Off did it!
