THE KIDS LOVE IT!
This stuff is awesome! At first it was very runny trying to paint with it, until I realized I was using the wrong type of roller. MAKE SURE YOU USE THE TYPE OF ROLLER IT SAYS TO USE ON THE BOX!!! (I forgot which kind it says to use) If you try to use the wrong roller, it will go on runny, thin, and not at all consistent. I did the first two coats like that and it looked horrible. Then I did a couple more coats with the right type of roller and it painted on perfectly!I used a magnetic primer underneath this, so now I have a magnetic white board! (see my magnetic paint review) I actually did this in our basement, underneath the stairs (that most people use as a little toy room area). I used three boxes of this paint for that whole area. However, I know two would have been fine if I had used the right brush at first.I have had this finished for about 6 months now, and it still looks and works great. best shower board ever!
I've been searching for something to use in the shower since I always have the best ideas but never am able to write them down and then consequently forget them! When I'm working on writing my college papers, it's the best place to think. This is fantastic- sticks right on and won't leave any residue which is very important if you rent an apartment/home. No more wasted door space!
I love having a big whiteboard in the kitchen, but there wasn't a good place to hang one. This works perfectly, even on textured doors (like my pantry). Went on easily using a squeegy, took only a couple of minutes, and is already covered in notes, numbers and menu ideas. Yay!

decent quality, excellent price
This product isn't completely flawless, but it's definitely worth the money. It was relatively easy to put up on my painted walls (I recommend asking someone to help you and using a squeegee), and the one or two air bubbles I got were too small for anyone to really notice. The included dry erase marker comes with a velcro stick tab, so you can store the marker on the wall, right next to the decal. It's easy to write with the marker, but the eraser is kind of crummy (this is true for pretty much all dry erase decals though).This particular decal is bigger and higher quality than what the competitors are selling for the same price.

I enjoy this product because you can make a white board anywhere you want to. I have covered a section of my desk, the door to my freezer, and turned an old mirror in a white board, the possibilities are endless. As far as the writing and erasing goes, I am satisfied. Some inks have come off easier than others but they have all come off with some effort. It has been easy to install and I have had very little problem removing it if I didn't like where I put it. I am not sure I would be happy to be using it instead of a fine quality board in a classroom but for my purposes it is a good product. I feel I have definitely gotten my moneys worth and am not disappointed in the quality at all. Top to learn more

...It's also clearly for just a one time placement. The product is not meant to stick to a surface, be removed, and then stuck to another surface. If you're just going to keep it in one spot, it's fine, but if you intend to travel with it, like I do, then don't remove the backing like I did. Good bye Chalkboard!
I am an elementary school teacher and was SO sick of the old chalkboard in my classroom- it had marker and crayon marks on it, and was just a pain to write on and clean! I decided to try and convert it to dry-erase this year, but needed to find an economical and removable solution (in case I move classrooms). I found Go-write in this largest size and was excited to give it a try. Here's what I've found so far (1 month later):Out of the box:- I did not have any problem with the paper being creased like a previous poster. I had to cut off the last 3 or 4 inches (maybe).- I found laying out the paper flat and holding it down with some books for a day helped to manage it better.Application:- Not too bad, but two people would have been really nice. It was a struggle with just me.- Ended up with a few minor lines where the paper creased as I was applying, but nothing major.- Getting the bubbles out was the hardest part. Again- would have... Works well
I am a teacher who was also sick of chalk. For 25 bucks, this product saved the day. Have you looked to see how much an actual white board costs? Many hundreds of dollars depending on the size. Try taking that request to administration. For the price, I solved my problem overnight. I have been using it for 2 months with great success.Here are some general observations and tips:- use 2 people to apply- if you are cutting it and then placing the two sheets one above the other to create a 48" board, put the bottom one on first so that the top one's edge is on top of the bottom's top edge. Prevents peeling and other problems- use black marker as your primary. It seems to erase better than the colors- clean it every day with the expo white board cleaning solution to prevent any residue build up. Cheap White Board but tricky to apply successfully
We bought this stuff to resurface an old white board. Much cheaper than a new board but...1. Packaged with wrinkles - inspect product BEFORE removing the paper backing.2. Tends to wrinkle during application & wrinkles are tough to remove (there are ways to minimize wrinkles - see below)3. Sticks to everything & when removed, can leave some spots of adhesive, which then show up as bumps when re-positioning & re-covering. So, better get it right the first time.4. Markers don't erase cleanly unless you follow with alcohol or cleaner. Real white boards need only an eraser to remove the marker.Here's what hubby & I learned from applying this to our old white board:The key to avoiding wrinkles is 2-part: the surface to be covered must be clean & smooth, and the application must apply the roll smoothly, with no removal & repositioning of the white board roll.BEFORE removing paper backing, roll out & inspect.
