Great Product
I wear semi-expensive sunglasses, I had a habit of losing them and the Croakies solved that problem. This product attaches to the handles with a snug fit. You may have a problem attaching these to sunglasses with a really thick handle, but I have always been able to eventually work the neoprene over every sunglasses handle I have owned. I wear them daily and they seem to last at least three years before they start to fray. Top to learn more

Fit the bill
I like Amazon because you can find little things like croakies quickly. You don't have to drive all over town and try to find them, using up precious gas. My order was received on-time; actually before the promised date, and I was able to use them to successfully secure my sunglasses while on a wild and windy sailing vacation.

Eyewear accessories
This is a good product. A bit overpriced however, I can't find this product in any stores. I use the strap to hold on my daughter eyeglasses. She is in a wheelchair an when her head rubs the headrest the thinner straps tends to fall off her glasses, especially the wire frames.

Micro Croakies for Gatorz
I have used standard Croakies in the past but I saw a pair of these in a store and purchased them purely off of reputation. I found that being sleeker it had a very elastic property that conformed to frames I was using which is exactly what I needed. I purchased the Micro Suiter from Amazon.com for a second pair Gatorz Eye wear that I and use in high wind conditions and the Micro Suiter is perfect for this. Only lasts FIFTEEN YEARS!!
Today I am ordering 2 new CROAKIES MICRO SUITERS - because my last one failed.Here is the amazing thing though: the one I had lasted FIFTEEN YEARS!I bought my original one in 1996. I lived in England and was on vacation in Las Vegas. I splashed out on a nice pair of sunglasses (Hobie, polarized, classic Ray-Ban Wayfarer shape - like the Blues Brothers).Five years later I moved to Houston TX. Since then, my Hobies - with the CROAKIES MICRO SUITERS still attached - have been my 'go to' glasses when I ride my bicycle. The CROAKIES MICRO SUITERS finally broke a few weeks ago, and I replaced them with an Academy brand eyeware retainer. I mean, c'mon, now, an eyeware retainer is an eyeware retainer, right? What's so difficult about that?Well, I was spoiled. 15 years with a CROAKIES MICRO SUITERS is like 15 years driving a Ferrari (except *reliable* ;-). Going Blind
I hate to admit it, but I'm going blind. I now must wear my eye glasses to watch TV and see anything more than ten feet away. The trouble is, my glasses don't help up close. So, I'm constantly putting my glasses on top of my head where the rest ever so precariously. One wrong move and they fall to the floor. I've scratched lenses on all my glasses because of this bad habit. I finally got the bright idea to order one on these eyewear retainers. Best I Found
I need reading glasses. However, I have a habit of misplacing such things, so I thought I would try eyeglass retainers.There are many choices available for eyeglass retainers. When I noticed that Croakies offered retainers that were long enough for an easy fit and comfortable to put on, I purchased them.The Croakies Tite End Adjustable Eye Wear Retainers are attractive. They have an excellent cord for a neck band that is very comfortable to wear. The retainer holds the glasses firmly in place. The overall length is perfect for my long term use.I am especially pleased that these are retainers that attach at the middle of the bow. I sought such retainers to prevent detachment, and these fit on the bow. Unlike other retainers, these fit securely on the bow so that eyeglasses do not slip off of the bow when the glasses are hanging around your neck.I recommend Croakies Tite End Adjustable Eye Wear Retainers. Looking at the photo and reading the other reviews, I was surprised to receive something different than advertised. Rather than something that attached at the middle of the bow, what I received attached only at the ends and was essentially a different product.When I asked the seller (INDYCDSTORE) what was going on, they replied, and I quote from their e-mail:"The Amazon product page is completely messed up.....and just to let you know, we have no control over the content on this page. We shipped you the correct item according to the UPC of the item. Unfortunately the UPC doesn't match the picture, which doesn't match the item description."So beware that the UPC code of the seller may mismatch the listing on the Amazon.com Web page and you may end up with the wrong product. Good Quality and Good Looking Eyewear Retainer
When it comes to eyewear retainers there are many many brands and models on the market but in my opinion there are only 2 great brands: Chums and Croakies.This Chums is made of a very good quality and soft cotton. Seems very durable too. It will give you the feeling of a good quality product. Mine is Marine Tan Digi Camo color. The color is really great.If you dont mind a tail piece hanging on the back of your neck this model might be for you. Othervise there is another Chums model without a hanging tail (just search it in Amazon). Help for sizing Chums to your frames
This is my first purchase of the Chums retainer and I was not sure how they would fit various frames. I purchased Chums in the same order as the JMarti sunglasses for which I wanted to get a retainer . So not seeing either of the products I decided to purchase three sizes of Chums figuring I will find use for them and this would cover my basis for the sunglasses.My review contains comparison of how different Chums retainers fit my different frames. I am also attaching 2 photos which show the type of frames that I mention in my review below.The regular size chums were too small to fit the sunglasses (the sunglasses frame is slightly thicker than 2/8 on an inch). Just what I needed for new eyeglasses
I got some new glasses black plastic frames. They fit great but slip on the nose when sweating etc. I order a pair of these Croakies XL in black not thinking much.I was surprise they were pretty simple to install and they work great! No more slipping and they feel great not tight. Top to learn more
Motorcyclist here...
I bought these so I could ride without fear of having my expensive prescription glasses getting blown off my head. Thats happened before with my normal riding sunglasses. I didn't want to take any chances with my good glasses. After a few rides at 70mph I feel this was one heck of a good buy. They keep my glasses snug on my face and I can see perfectly now when riding. Its nice to clearly read street signs again..haha.When riding in the morning I wear "Clear Lens ALL Star Global Vision Goggles Fits Over Prescription Rx Glasses" over my glasses. If you have smaller framed glasses like I do, these are a must for chilly rides.
