THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT MIX WELL WITH OTHER PRODUCTS, IT SHOULD BE USED ALONE!I use this product for twist outs, bantu knots,and just to basically keep my hair moisturized. You can use it on your hair either wet or dry depending on what look you want. When I use it dry it gives my hair a bouncy cotton look, when used wet it defines and adds shine. Hello? $4 at Walmart?
I love this product. Moisturizes with a nice scent and doesn't weigh down my hair. I am biracial, so something that strengthens my curls without too much of a grease feel is something I appreciate. Not sure if this would suffice for really coarse hair, as it is definitely a light product. I use this, along with Carol's Daughter milk and Mixed Chicks leave-in, as part of my regular rotation. Great products, but Cantu is the best around for affordable, daily use.BUT, the price here is outrageous. You can easily find this at Walmart for around $4, and less than a dollar more at Target. Amazon is a joke with pricing. Buyer beware!

Great Product!
I use this product to moisturize and seal every night and it does the trick. It makes my hair soooo soft and I have that dry, brittle, 4b type hair. I love how it keeps it manageable from day to day. Definitely a must have in my hair regimen.

Cantu Daily Oil Moisturizer
I use this every other day after washing my hair and drying it off with a towel. I put a bit in the palm of my hand, and if it's too much, I press my hands on a towel so it's not too much. It IS greasy if you use too much and it will look like you don't wash your hair. But if you're careful (and it takes a bit to figure it out), you can use it and it works well. It keeps my hair moisturized and shiny between washes and really helps to define my curls. I have medium thick curly hair which was a bit dry, which is why I started using this and it's worked well for me. But you have to be careful with how much you use.

Works For Me
I love this moisturizer. I have been looking hi and low for something that will actually moisturizer my scalp and strengthen my hair. Optimum just wasn't working for me, so I switched to this instead, and the difference cantu made in my hair was unbelievable. My hair not only smelled great, but it was actually moisturized, my scalp also itched a hell of lot less, and I am pretty my hair started feeling a little bit stronger.

Very nice product
I've been using this product for about three yrs and i cant complain. Everytime i use another shampoo i end up coming back to this one. The whole line is very nice, smells good, good results nice prices. I also like the leave in conditoner, esp before i blow dry it helps keeps moisture and dont have to use alot, and most of all the products last a good while too! I have all natural hair no perm nor coloring, but it will most likly give good results for chemically treated hair too!

THIS STUFF IS A DANDRUFF CURE!I am a Caucasian man who has been locked in a vicious battle against COPIOUS and PERNICIOUS dandruff/psoriasis for 25+ years. I tried every product I could find that promised to control dandruff and nothing ever worked, many of the products that get most heavily advertised on TV actually made my condition worse. I took up a strategy of keeping my hair buzzed so I could apply regular skin moisturizer & baby oil directly to my scalp - but that was a messy, greasy, and imperfect solution.I would have never discovered Cantu pomade with Shea butter if it hadn't been for the Chris Rock documentary "Good Hair" (a fascinating movie that I highly recommend BTW). After seeing how harsh the chemicals involved in the hair relaxing/straightening process were, I figured folks who subjected their hair and scalps to such extremes needed a VERY potent regimen of skin and hair moisturizing in order to recover. That led me to the 'other' hair...
