I only had the wood floors for about 2 years and they looked like they were over 10 years old. Finish was very dull and looked worn. I had someone come and refinish it for me and he told me that I was actually stripping the finish off when I was using the "wood floor cleaners" products that I would buy at the store. He recommended to me that I use the Bona-X and nothing else and I would see a big difference. It has been almost 5 years now and my floors still look like he just refinish them. You need to use the microfiber mop cover which they call it the micro-plus cover on the amazon. I'm sure if you go on the internet, you will find the mop to use this. I highly recommend this product. I got a spray bottle and just refill it that way as it is easier and lighter to carry and it doesn't take much to do your floors. Never leaves it dull anymore and it really does a great job cleaning dirt off. Amazon got a good price for this product.

Best hardwood floor cleaner ever!
We have polyurethane finished hardwood floors in our kitchen, dining and living areas. We also have a 2 year old grandson and a dog in our house (need I say more). Bona-X Floor cleaner
If you take the time to talk to any professional Hardwood Floor people they will tell you NOT to use Murphy's oil soap or ANY soap of any kind on your hardwood. I have been using this product for years and it was suggested to me by the hardwood installers that installed my floors. Given they have nothing to gain by suggesting this product I didn't hesitate to try it. They are right. I buy it by the gallon and Amazon so far, has the best price. Don't hesitate to use this product if you want to maintain your hardwood properly and keep it looking great.

An Excellent Product!
I just had engineered hardword floors put down in my home. I went to the local mega-hardware store to find a cleaning product for no-wax hardwood floors and purchased a combo kit: terry cloth flat mop (like a larger version of the Swifter) with a spary bottle of cleaner by a very well-known hardwood floor manufacturer. However, I had already purchased several bottles of Bona from Amazon after reading the good reviews. Since my floors were very dirty after installation, I started with the "well-known" brand product. Within ten minutes I was dizzy from the fumes. The label lists all sorts of chemicals and a long list of warnings -- including proper ventilation (hard to do when it is 90 degrees outside and you are running the A/C at full blast). So I washed the mop and switched to a bottle of Bona. I was amazed! Side by side comparison, Bona did a better job of cleaning AND no fumes. . In fact, it has NO ODOR what-so-ever. There is no listing of ingredients on the label...

Love it!!!
I was looking for something besides my nearly useless Swiffer to clean my laminate and tile floors (I buy the laminate/tile cleaner instead of the hardwood floor), and had quite a difficult time. I wanted something with the simplicity of a Swiffer, but sturdier and more effective. I initially ignored this product because the reviews were quite mixed, but I kept coming back to it because it seemed like if it worked it would be exactly what I was looking for. When I couldn't find anything else, I finally caved and bought it, and I'm so thankful I did! It IS exactly what I wanted! The handle is sturdy...much better quality than my Swiffer. I've had no trouble with the trigger...it sprays out a nice fine mist. The microfiber pad is bigger than any other floor cleaner I've seen so I get more done in less time, but it's still narrow enough to turn sideways and get into small spaces. Refillable cartdridge
I've had the mop for about 6 months. You can drill a small hole towards the top of the cartdridge, fill the solution with a funnel and use a small cork to fill the hole. I have done this 3-4 times and it works great. I bought a 1.25 gallon refill which works out to be about a tenth of the cost vs. the cartdridge cost.

Bona-Kemi hardwood spray mop
We received the Bona-Kemi mop about a month ago. I'd been cleaning the hardwood floors in our new house with a combo of vacuuming, Swiffer & hand-wiping with cloth/paper towels and Bona-Kemi spray. While you need to get the dirt/dog hair up before using the Bona-Kemi mop, the mop is a clear improvement over the Swiffer + spray or hand-wiping + spray--speedier and with better results.The mop snapped together w/o difficulty. The microfiber cloth head is large, attaches/detaches easily with the velcro tabs and washes clean. The mop is lightweight and a comfortable height for use. The spray doesn't take much muscle in order to get marks off and leaves the floors looking gorgeous.The spray cartridge holds a goodly (about a pint) amount of spray. I agree with other reviewers though, that it would be much better if the cartridge had been manufactured so as to be refillable. We can't get the cartridges in Alaska and have to ship from the lower 48, but the refill...

Excellent, but expensive.
We installed new floors in our 30-year-old house. Expensive! About a third of the floor space was covered with stone tiles and the remaining part was covered with "engineered" wood. Both types of flooring were set on a concrete slab. Our installer suggested we use the Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner on the wood floors, and we've been doing that for about the past 4 years. It's an excellent cleaner and I'm amazed how well it works.More recently, my wife discovered a Bona Mop which requires a replaceable cleaning cartridge. The mop is very nicely designed and makes cleaning simple and relatively pleasant. The cartridge mounts on the lower part of the mop and gives little sprays onto the floor at the control of a small lever on the upper part of the mop handle. Everything has worked rather well. It's an excellent cleaner and the mop makes it easy to use. What more can I say? About the only annoyance is the cost of the replacement cartridge. Ah well, I suppose if we're going to...

Great for bamboo floors!
We got bamboo floors installed in our livingroom and playroom and we tried the Swiffer WetJet we had on hand to clean the floor. After using that on a small section of the floor, we stopped because it left a film on the floor.I did a little research and found that the Bona allegedly didn't leave a film on bamboo. I'm happy to say that it does not and leaves the floor felling great. It took a little extra rubbing to clean a few spots where there appeared to be Jello stuck on the floor (kids!) but it took it off without too much effort.The mop heads are machine washable which I like (though I haven't tried it yet). No need to buy refills for the mop head! The only thing is that I'll probably need to think ahead a bit and order more floor cleaner spray because I've never seen it in the stores I go to.

Over the new year, I had my 60 year old oak floors refinished. The results were stunning. I fully intended to purchase a large dust mop from a janitor supply store, but figured I had better ask the floor refinisher his recommendation for care. He said that the absolute best hardwood floor care products were Bona, and that their microfibre dust mop would do far better than a cotton one. He went so far as to tell me where to find in in the local home improvement store (starts with L), since it was in the flooring aisle, not cleaning supplies.Well, I had been using a Swiffer disposable dry mop pad, and I cleaned my floors with it...same as I'm used to, and it was 'okay.' Then I went back over it with the Bona microfiber dust mop and WOW! The amount of fine dirt and dust that came up was surprising, and I could see the difference in the floor. I'm very, very pleased with the product. I have not tried the spray-on restorer, but the refinisher guy said to use it only as needed,...
