Aqua Glycolic - LOVE these products!
When I was receiving a facial several years ago, the esthetician suggested I try this line of products. (And she wasn't trying to sell it to me because they didn't stock this). I tended to have issues with Adult Acne - annoying large cysts along my jawline and they seemed to last forever. Within a short time of using this line of products, they stopped appearing and I just won't go back to using anything else. I have been using Aqua Glycolic for at least 3 years now and my skin looks and feels so much better! And the nice side effect is that I don't tend to use as much concealer or base makeup because I don't need to cover much up. For anyone with Adult Acne issues, I recommend trying these products. Hope you are as happy with the results!

BEST VAULE...BEST FACIAL CREAM
I am 39 years old, I have been getting facials for 20 years, used every product to mankind from AHAs, retinol, vit c, etc. I begad glycolic acid peels in my late 20s, being a nurse, I am very well informed about different great products. I began botoxing my forehead in my late 20s and have done doctor chemical peels for 10 years... I got tired of spending soooo much money of glycolic creams that were a fortune with far less glycolic content than this cream. I LOVE this cream!!! I bought 3 months ago and use daily. Here is what I love...Glycolic acid to me is still the only formula that rejuvenates skin to look dewey and fresh and YOUNG...People say I look 30, and I think it is because I have been using glycolic acid on my face like a religion, nothing peels and resurfces skin better with removing dead cells than glycolic. I am not a doctor, but just my EXPERIENCE...REtinol is great for age spots but so is glycolic and retinol is terrible if you even have the littlest bit of sun...

Great Products
I love this product! I also battled adult acne for years and tried everything, including dermatologist prescribed creams, pills, etc. When I finally discovered this face cream, I couldn't believe the results. I have been using it for 4 years now and a few months ago tried an Oprah recommended face cream only to have my face break out terribly. So I went back to my Aqua Glycolic and in a few weeks, my face was all clear again. I will never switch again and now I am also adding the face cleanser and toner to my daily routine!

Great product - Give it a try!
Aqua Glycolic's Facial Wash is a product everyone over 30 can definitely benefit from. If you have not used glycolic acid washes before, you might not appreciate the "creamy" cleansing you get rather than the "soapy lather" that most people like and expect from a cleanser. It may not feel like it is doing anything to clean your skin, but it is. Dermatologists tell us that gentle cleansers are the best cleansers because they are formulated closer to our own skin's PH balance.I have oily, acne prone skin and this cleanser seemed to emulsify the sebum that clogged my pores. My acne decreased because this cleanser gently exfoliated my skin, keeping the old, dead top layerfrom clogging the opening of the pore. In fact, after a few days of using this, you will notice a kind of "skin dandruff" which is just the old top layer being gently peeled off by the glycolic acid. Try this: At the end of a very warm shower, gently scrape your nails in circular motion around...

Rosace and Adult Acne treatment
I've used a lot of products, many of which were prescription from the dermatologist, and the only thing that every helped was prescription antibiotics. There is evidence that even taking low doses continually is bad for you (I don't remember the exact issue). Now I use this each a.m. and each p.m. and the rosacea has improved dramatically and my pores are clear. I don't have any peeling or irritation from it.I had researched rosacea via Google Scholar and had found that glycolic acid peels were being used successfully for rosacea. I did not want to spend the money to do that, so decided to try a reasonably priced over-the-counter glycolic acid product. The first few days it stung a little before I rinsed it off but that has stopped. I massage it on dry skin then do a few things around the house for 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing it off. You should not use it on wet skin or mix it with water as that changes the pH. Only use water when you are ready to rinse it off...

Happy with it
I've tried many different kinds of toners over the years on my sensitive, severe-acne prone skin. Most toners either don't do anything to help or they actually cause acne for me, or their fragrance does. I've been using this for about a month and a half now and have had nothing but good results. I was using acne.org line of skin care (still use their cleanser and moisturizer, it's the best) with the benzoyl peroxide (great skin care combinations to clear up skin and keep it pretty clear - I was using proactive but finally switched completely over to acne.org), but my dermatologist wanted me to try aczone and ziana combo therapy because of rosacea that was starting. This is the toner I believe I've finally settled on and I'm enjoying clear skin with the exception of occasional mild flare-ups.

Glad to find this product
My dermatologist recommended this toner and I was not able to find it in local stores so I was happy to see it available through Amazon. The toner does a great job of controlling oil and removing any dirt or residue on the face. The only downside is the sharp smell of the product (which fades fairy quickly) but I am not sure that can be avoided with these types of ingredients.

Very gentle
I like this toner for daily use, it is gentle enough. Not enough glycolic to stop a flare up, but good enough to maintain skin tone during the summer months.

A very pleasant surprise!
I originally was only going to purchase the Aqua Glycolic face care products (toner, face wash and face cream). However after reading numerous reviews of the entire Aqua Glycolic line, I added in the body lotion at the last minute. (Only because Amazon was offering a discount if you purchased over a certain threshhold of AG products.)WOW! This lotion is awesome! The first time that I applied it I thought to myself "This doesn't seem like much." It's thin in consistency and didn't seem like it was going to be very moisturizing. In fact after massaging it in to my hands, arms and legs I felt as if I had applied nothing at all. I figured that this was going to be added to the collection of other skin care products that I never finished (but find very difficult to throw away....)Later that day I noticed that my hands felt smooth and soft. (Even after being washed several times already.) I still wasn't convinced and chalked it up to a fluke or that maybe...

sun damaged skin
I carried the mail for nearly 25 years and was in the sun most of the day. At the time, I didn't worry about it, but now I can see the damage the sun has done to my skin. I have never had great skin to begin with, but I have been using this after I saw a 74 year old gentleman purchasing it at a store. He said his dermatologist had recommended it. He looked pretty good for his age, and he too had been outdoors in his profession. I use this on my hands, arms, legs, and neck. It has mineral oil in it, but it is not greasy at all. The brown spots on my hands have lightened considerably, and some have vanished. My skin doesn't look "crepy" like it used too. My legs are not scaly. I use a buff puff in the bath, and then apply this lotion at night and again in the morning. It is comfortable and not at all sticky-feeling. I don't care how tight my budget is, I will buy it.

Aqua Glycolic
Aqua Glycolic hand and body lotion and body wash/shampoo were recommended by my dermatologist to prevent occurance of small skin growths, keratoses,little bumpies, etc., all non-cancerous, though I do have a history of skin cancer. Though the product won't entirely erase existing problems, it has lightened, eliminated and prevented to the degree that my skin is at least 90% improved, and my back had a lot of keratoses. It absolutely works as a preventive & curative measure and does even skin tone remarkably well. I've been using it for about one year, as a body lotion after bathing, along with the body wash. The results are very noticeable. It makes a big difference, and I will continue using it. Highly recommended. Oh! And my husband who has been applying it to my back about 3-4 times a week works in construction and had very dry calloused hands. His hands have improved dramatically, too!

This is a great product, I have recommended it to many...and now to you.I started using these products maybe 15 years ago after being told about them by a friend. She had a necessary procedure done on her face by a well known cosmetic surgeon. He suggested using this range of products. I know that scarring depends on quality of skin and the surgeons skill, but, virtually NO scarring. I swear its this stuff. It worked just like he said it would, and after that example, I have been using it ever since. The stuff is inexpensive, works great, I am 42 with hardly any lines, I love this stuff.Try it, you will love it too!

Ok, but not the changes I was hoping for.
I meant to click two stars, but am unable to change that... I used the product trio (cleanser, toner and lotion) twice daily for a month. I experienced no stinging, burning or redness. The cleanser is creamy and does not lather (I prefer lather).There was not any "amazing" difference in my skin. My skin might have been a little smoother, but not so noticeable that I could tell for sure. The breakout issue might have been a little better, not a lot better. I could not tell any difference in the size of the pores as the other reviewers say they can. The one big difference I could really see was that this product really "bleached" my skin - not an effect I wanted to happen.Those of you who want to lighten your skin / fade your tan - go for it. However, I won't purchase these products again. From a facial cleansing standpoint, I can purchase something a lot less expensive and get the same results.

Great product! Highest AHA % I've found...and I've looked far and wide.
If you have dry scaly skin at all or are just concerned with aging spots and wrinkles this product is a great addition to a regular peeling regime.I wash my face with it almost everyday. Works fantastic.Also I use it on my hair, great for getting build up off hair, great for scalp and as stated, it does leave your hair very soft.I use this also as a body soap with a scrubby, and on my finger nail and toe nail brushes.I've heard complaints about the scent, I am super scent allergic and or picky and the scent was no problem for me. Great exfoliant!
I like this cleanser as I use a lot of products with glycolic acid. I use it as a body cleanser. Don't be scared to use this. It's very mild for those that are used to products containing glycolic acid. For those that are new to this, alternate it with your usual body cleanser to get used to it.After using this regularly along with my glycolic lotion and vit E lotion, I'm left with smooth and more even toned skin. My only wish is that it had a higher percentage of glycolic acid. Even though it's not made for the face I have used it on my face at the most two times a week as I didn't want to irritate my skin. Overall, this is a great product for those that want clear and smooth skin.
