In the age of digital revolution that metamorphosed photography for ever there is little reason to buy an analog product. A product with a large size and cumbersome function. rather than take hundreds of photos before you think of changing your memory card you are limited to 10 small expensive prints.So why did I buy it. I purchased this Camera for my boyfriend James. We both are quite nostalgic for the 70's and 80's and both of us love photography. He himself has quite the eye for framing a picture perfectly, and finding subjects to shoot that are quirky, and beautiful and unconventional. We all know how a Polaroid picture looks, it's not crystal clear in the slightest, and it has such a harshness of reality woven into it. We bought this film to use with the Polaroid 300 camera for a type of photo booth at my daughter's wedding. It worked great. Every photo that was taken turned out. Some were taken by young kids, some by older adults, but they all looked great. The instant photo booth was the hit of the wedding.

Not exactly the old polaroid, but close enough
The picture quality is great, and it gives you the feel of the old polaroid experience. It's not quite the same, as the pictures are smaller, but it's close enough. It would be nice if you got more than 10 per pack.

The fun of it is the most important part
I definately love this camera. It's incredibly fun and gratifying to get your pictures developed a minute after you take them, and this camera in all honesty isn't meant to be professional. If you want professional quality go buy an slr or a digital. This kind of camera should be purely considered for enjoyment. Yes it is heavy but not in a way that makes it uncomfortable--it's bulk makes it nostalgic. It has very basic camera features and is one of, if not the, easiet camera i've ever used--just shove the film in and go. The camera takes decent quality pictures and tends to put a slight sepia tint on them when taken inside, but i consider that a cool trademark effect. The features of this camera include a lens that can be slid over to take closer pictures, a sliding numberless aperture setting, built in flash, and a button that lets you control the use of your flash. The only drawback is the fact that you can't take pictures closer than 2 feet (like all polaroid cameras). The...

A Handy Cam
This is a nice camera for those quick instant photos you want of people. However the size of it is large and the photos aren't exactly TOP quality. It's nice to have for those quick shots to show right away. The actual picture aren't something you put in a scrapbook or picture book, but I wouldn't buy this camera for those reasons. These pictures are ment for the refrigerator or a bulliten board to look at on your way out or for quick viewing. Thats why I like it because the pictures are nice to look at, but they're not priceless pictures that you treasure. So in conclusion, I would highly recommend this camera for fun and quick purposes.

Early days, but already good value for money
This is an early review (a pre-ordered camera only arrived a couple of days ago) so I've only spent a few hours using it.Quick summary - in some ways the camera is surprisingly limited, and it's a bit bulky (and very ugly), but this is overshadowed by having a built-in photo-printer at the price of a regular digital camera. It offers the instant-printing of the old Polaroids, but with greatly increased digital flexibility, and lower operating cost.With an overall thumbs-up in mind, some other notes:The camera functions are quite basic and bare-bones compared to pocket cameras today, though are more advanced than a cellphone camera. There is no zoom, just "digital zoom". There are too few buttons to operate camera settings on the go without navigating through menus, so if the environment isn't suited to just point-and-click, I'm likely to miss my shot, and if the conditions are too challenging (low light and high movement), I'm likely to fail to get a good...

Everything It Claims to be, but...
The Polaroid Pogo Camera is everything it claims to be. But...It does turn on pretty fast, so it is ready to take pictures with only a mild amount of anticipation. It is easy to set up. It is easy to use, but could be easier if it had a more intuitive buttonology (the manual provided is also somewhat poorly written), especially once in printer mode. It is a 5.0 mp camera but with only digital zoom and relatively slow reaction time. 5mp digital photography was great 8 years ago. The large LCD is great and easy to view. I haven't had any trouble with it even in sunlight. It does use SD and SDHC cards, and with 5mp PIX, you don't need a huge card to store thousands of pictures.As a printer, you can select any of the pictures you have taken for printing (made easier with the large screen). Pogo Instant Digital camera is good to go
The Pogo instant digital camera that I recently purchased is fantastic! I'm a nurse practitioner and use it to take photos for mothers of them with their newborns. Though the photos are only 2"x3", they are borderless and can be taken close up so the photo itself seems larger. The image is clear and mothers love these photos. The photo's adhesive backing is an additional convenience. I highly recommend the Pogo camera and its many features.
