Solid case for the price
Received my Minisuit PU leather case yesterday and was blown away by the quality.I wasn't expecting much, as the price put it in the "bargain" category. My fire fits perfectly, is protected on all sides, I still have access to all ports, buttons etc, and when open it disappears in my hand.Overall, a high quality product at a bargain price. Shipping was fast and it's a perfect case solution for my Kindle Fire.

Good, functional cover for Kindle Fire
When I pre-ordered my Fire, I also ordered the only leather cover available at the time ... the . Shortly after receiving my Fire, I noticed the MiniSuit cover being sold at a much lower price. I ordered one immediately, along with their .At this point, I'm planning to sell the Marware cover and keep the MiniSuit one. I'm much happier with the options for changing the display angle, and the slightly lower quality material doesn't bother me a bit.My actual score is 4.5 stars ... I took away .5...

Indescribably delightful!
This book was SUCH a fun read! Dan Price's book on keeping a journal is quirky, inspiring, humorous, delightful, and educational! If you haven't kept a journal before, you will really want to start after reading this book! Actually, I doubt that you could read through the whole thing without beginning.I've been journaling pretty steadily for the past 4-5 years or so. One thing I've really wanted to include is more doodling and (attempts at) drawing. I consider myself artistically-challenged, and this book really has encouraged me to give drawing in my journals a try. Some other reviewers have stated that they've read this book in one sitting. I daresay that's POSSIBLE, but I wouldn't WANT to read it in one sitting. It's just so packed with stuff and so good that I wanted to savor it! Scrapbookers would also benefit from reading this book!Take a look at Amazon's great "Look inside" feature to look at this book, then order one for yourself and several for gifts - you...

Inspiring---Motiviating---A Fun Read----An Easy Read!
This is a small sized book that is entirely handwritten, and those two things make this book inviting. It reads like a journal. Hand drawings and photographs illustrate the author's method of illustrating his own journals. This is not just a book about how to journal but we read actual journal pages from the author. This book speaks to a person who always felt they should write a journal but were afraid to start.Price gives encouragement along the way such as using the journal for positive thoughts not just for complaining. Journalists don't have to be professional novelists before they can begin writing about their own life for their own eyes! The addition of ephemera from the journalists daily lives is encouraged (ticket stubs, random paper clutter from our lives, etc.).The end of the book features twenty pages of Price's journals which were formerly published in 1991 to 1991, as a small independent zine called 'Moonlight Chronicles'...

Ready, Set, Create!
If you've ever thought of starting a journal but didn't know where to begin you have Dan Price to show you the way. His handwritten book on how to write, document, illustrate and doodle a journal is priceless. He makes it look easy and super fun! I suggest you get this book to help get you excited about journaling!

Product Description

When nomad artist and free spirit Dan Price began jotting down his musings in the form of whimsical drawings and inspired prose, he hardly could have imagined that his self-published journal-zine, the MOONLIGHT CHRONICLES, would earn him a cult following across the country. Now in its twentieth edition, the MOONLIGHT CHRONICLES has brought Dan's creed of "truth, beauty, and really big sabbaticals from the convention of life" to thousands across the countryWith such a following, Dan figured it was time to collect his offbeat observations into book form in hopes of inspiring other would-be journal writers to take pen, camera, and brush in hand. As Dan is fond of noting "Seems there's tons of empty journal books, but not too many on how to fill 'em up!" In HOW TO MAKE A JOURNAL, Dan answers the call, teaching readers how to tap into those pent-up creative juices and collect their life experiences on paper. Top to learn more

Exactly like it was described!
I wanted a leather back journal but Amazon did not describe the other ones very well enough for me to purchase. This journal was described well by both Amazon and the other reviewers. It suits my needs perfectly and I couldn't ask for anything better. Here are some pros and cons for this item:Pros:The leather is as tough as a hardcover. (It is made of 80% cowhide and 20% nonleathers, whatever that means)There is a pocket in the inside back to hold pages and other items.Thin ribbon bookmark to save your pages.Elastic band to keep your journal shut.Cons:The page lines are narrow ruled and unperforated. It is not a school notebook after all.The pages bleed through if you use a marker or thick pen.The pages are not a bright white, but more of a cream or off white. The journal is small. If you want to know the exact size. Get a sheet of computer paper, turn it sideways, and fold it half. That's the size of this journal.

A Nice Journal
My husband is the one who actually uses this journal. I have ordered a 2nd one because he purchased the first one elsewhere 2 years ago and is now requesting a new one just like it. He actually managed to fit 2 years' worth of diary into it and the cover looks nearly new yet. It has lined pages that are cream-colored, nice to write on, and definitely worth having as a family heirloom. It has a pocket in the back cover, perfect for storing any mementos that you would like to keep, such as tickets to special events, etc. An elastic band wraps around from the front cover to keep the journal closed and it has held up nicely these past 2 years. The journal is slim, about 1/2 inch thick, so it is easy to toss in to a suitcase or overnight bag.

Sturdy journals
I researched many journals before finally choosing these. I wanted something that would stand up to kids writing and handling. These turned out to be perfect. The cover is very sturdy and the pages are thick and lined. The elastic band keeps it closed. I can see these books holding up very well.

Possibly the greatest vampire film ever made.
"I am God's most desolate creature"Some of the lines in this movie are unforgettable. The dialogue is fantastic and moving. I love these first person narratives, they just don?t make enough movies like this anymore. Those who read books and enjoy the classic vampire tales will love this one. It is the most under-rated film I have yet come across. Ash and Zachary are played to the hilt by a few actors I would like to see a lot more of, these are some talented people. The cinematography, the setting, the atmosphere is perfection brought to life. Somebody put a lot of work and love into this film and it shows. The use of shadows and shadowy movement is reminiscent of the very first Nosferatu; it doesn't get more classic than that. "Vampire Journals" appeals to a more mature audience. They are not going for eye popping special effects, and heart-stopping action with this movie. Though the special effects that do exist are very well done. Nothing in this movie...

Only one thing is for certain......
I am a little biased, because David Gunn is one of my favorite actors. The story was somewhat stereotypical in the fact that it was gothic, but the setting in Romania and the filming of it was superb. The story is about a romantic man(he writes poetry--how great is that!)who was turned into a vampire by his sire Serena. He vows to take revenge on the bloodline that made him what he is and killed his fiancee. The most powerful one is Ash, a music lover that falls in love with a pianist named Sofia(played by Kirsten Cerre).Zachary(Gunn)tries to use Sofia as bait while he kills Ash with the holy Blade of Laertes, but the twists come in here. There is plenty of vampiric adventure. A bit of nudity and gore(check out the fireplace scene at Club Muse) It is a beautiful story of a humanist abomination and is set in modern times(unlike Christopher Lee's films). A terrific movie and one that you will fall in love with. But, like I said, I am a little biased.

Gothic Perfection
Modern goth films seem to be solely based on a trend of pumping their soundtracks full of shoddy, unimaginative mainstream metal and Ozzfest wannabe bands. This film, however, is a breath of fresh air. Not only is Ted Nicolau's script well written and air tight, his direction is the best that one could possibly hope for from any director. Coupling a great cast with top-notch cinematography and lighting, this film will renew anyone's lost faith in modern vampire films. David Gunn is remarkable as Zachary, a tortured vampire. The characters are briefly but well developed. The plot is rich with bold lines and tense dialogue. And for those who love the gore, this movie has it all. Certainly a gem for anyone's horror collection.

Yep - Good but not Great
I've been giving the kindle version of the WSJ a try for the last week. I'm also currently a print version subscriber, but not an WSJ Online subscriber. I agree with a previous reviewer that this is a good but not great product. Here's what's good:- Ready for me to read every morning, and I don't have to go outside to get it.- Includes articles from the Online version at the end. I've not seen anyone comment on this. This is nice, and allows news that breaks after the paper goes to press to be added to the download.- Easier to read (no fighting with the paper itself)- Hands stay clean- Searchable- At $120 per year, this is a good value vs. the print version at $250 per year. And I don't think comparisons to the cost of WSJ online are valid. The kindle version can go with you and be read anywhere, just like the paper version. The online version cannot.- No adsHere's what I need to see to call it great (are you reading...

Price doesn't make sense
First of all, having the WSJ delivered when I am at home or on the road is a great feature. I like the Kindle Edition enough to want to keep it.However, I have to agree with others here that say the pricing makes absolutely no sense:$99/year for the WSJ print edition with the Online Web edition included.$119.88/year ($9.99/month) for the Kindle edition just doesn't make sense. Especially since the Kindle edition has fewer features, and almost none of the Pictures. So apparently the extra $20/year is for Whispernet delivery. That makes no sense because I could buy the Web edition and read it through the Kindle Browser for no additional charge.Amazon, the pricing on this makes no sense. Either get the WSJ people to include the Web edition in the price tag, or lower the price $30 or so per year. Less content for a greater price is simply not a good deal.

It's What Men Like to Read
Men's Journal is a decent magazine full of varied topics of interest to men. This magazine covers areas like sports, adventure travel, fashion and style, cars and trucks, career issues, etc. This publication directs all of its articles toward men, with an emphasis on what is most appealing to males throughout a typical week in their lives. One thing about Men's Journal that is a little different from other men's magazines is that it doesn't flaunt women to sell its issues. In fact, there are practically no pictures of women at all in this publication- something that will be considered an asset to some, and a liability to others. This magazine refuses to play the female card and instead focuses its articles on topics that men like to read about.Men's Journal is often obsessed with lists, and I think this is especially true in the last few years. Take a look at the cover of most issues and you will see a large, boldface advertisement for some sort of list. In one...

Fun resource for active men
This is a great magazine to highlight the fun places to go, things to do and things to own. It is not highbrow with big book excerpts, nor is is lowbrow with a bunch of buxom women all over the magazine. This is a magazine for active, athletic and adventurous men. There are 1 or 2 interesting articles about travel or adventure in each issue along with a feature article on varying topics from contributing writers. There are always good features on health and fitness tips. Lastly, the magazine highlights sports gear, fashion and gadgets. It is a fun, light (usually) magazine that I look forward to receiving each month.

Where Can I buy A Journal

That was where my decision to not manage the finances got me. Every week I reminded myself of what I had decided : if he wanted me to stay home then he had to manage the finances. ]: If the man is making the money, but not seeing the debts he goes happily along his way, buying what he wants, and not understanding why the wife always wants more money. I started thinking about this during my teen years before I even knew who my husband would be, and decided that if my husband wanted me to be a SAHM then he would manage the finances. We still have struggles, but we were able to buy this house almost 6 months ago and I can trust that he will take care of the finances. It takes the burden off the wife and puts it on the supporter of the home where it should be. That solidified my decision and gave me the purpose I needed to not take over the bills. I saw other couples [leaving out names] where the SAHM was left to worry over the income that she was to manage while the husband went and bought what he wanted. I made my easy decision that I would not manage the finances after marriage. I’ll even be bold enough to tell you men that support your family that you should be managing the finances. But if the man is managing the money he can easily see when things are ok, when he needs to work overtime, or even get another job. I was the one at home with only a small income when the electricity was turned off and they charged us $40 plus the bill to get it back on. Forty dollars was a lot for us. And so you know that I wasn’t the best new wife I’ll tell you what I did...   Now he manages the finances just fine, and we even have a casual budget and plan to decrease debt.
